      David,

Thank you for visiting the blog and for your question. You can find my recipe for Carne Mechada (Venezuelan Shredded/Pulled Beef) right
      here.

Let me know if you try it and like it.

It is to hard to choose ONE filling! All of them are so good, but I have to go with Reinapepiada.
    Which one is yours?

      Catherine,

Thank you for visiting the blog, and thank you for your comment. You are right, it’s hard to choose one. That’s why I had it set up so each voter can select up to three favorite arepa fillings. Mine is definitely cheese, any kind. I just love cheese. I’m simple like that. But I wouldn’t say no to an arepa with carne mechada, or a domino, or reinapepiada, or even one with cheese tomatoes and avocados, my three favorite things. Thank you for asking.

I choose “queso de mano” (Leave translation to you). But, as some of your bloggers say, any filling of your list is OK.

      Felipe,

Thank you for your comment. I love queso de mano, too… but around here it’s hard to find.
